Baharat means “spices” in Arabic. Also called Bharat or B'harat.
Ingredients: Ajwan Seeds, Allspice, Anise, Bay Leaves, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Cayenne, Cinnamon, Cloves, Coriander, Cumin, Fennel, Fenugreek, Galangal, Ginger, Nutmeg, Paprika, Turmeric and other spices.
Baharat is an all purpose flavor enhancer typically used in North Africa and the Middle East. Our favorite way to use Baharat is added to ground beef to kick up the flavor of hamburgers and meatloaf. It is excellent in lamb, beef, fish, chicken dishes as well as tomato sauces and soups.
