Description

Baharat means “spices” in Arabic. Also called Bharat or B'harat.
Ingredients: Ajwan Seeds, Allspice, Anise, Bay Leaves, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Cayenne, Cinnamon, Cloves, Coriander, Cumin, Fennel, Fenugreek, Galangal, Ginger, Nutmeg, Paprika, Turmeric and other spices.

Baharat is an all purpose flavor enhancer typically used in North Africa and the Middle East. Our favorite way to use Baharat is added to ground beef to kick up the flavor of hamburgers and meatloaf. It is excellent in lamb, beef, fish, chicken dishes as well as tomato sauces and soups.

I am restocking my pantry with this mix because I like it so much. With a little garlic salt, I love it for a rub on lamb or beef. It also works great in meatballs over rice.

Best Burger Spice March 25, 2018
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Madison, WI United States
I add this to my hamburger like one of Majid's recipes called for.  I added chopped onion & cilantro with two tablespoons of baharat to two pounds of ground beef and grilled.  It was the hit of the picnic.  Now all my friends want my secret.  Should I tell them?
