Amlou Dip: (an energy booster and renowned aphrodisiac)
In a heavy sauce pan dry fry lightly 2 cups of almonds using low heat for only a couple of minutes. Let it cool down completely then grind in a food processor. Mix well the almond powders with at least 1-cup of pure honey and ¾ cup of Argan oil. For thicker dip use more almonds or more oil and honey for lighter dip. Enjoy with your favorite bread at any occasion.
Zatar Dip: (Zatar, a Mid-Eastern herb blend)
* 1/2 cup of Zatar (see my Z Spice Blend section)
* 2 Tbsp of pure Honey
* 2 Tbsp of Argan Oil (or more)
* 1 Tbsp of goat cheese (optional)
Mix well, and enjoy with pita or French bread.
