Grilled Chermoula Salmon

4 salmon steaks 1-inch thick

For Chermoula Marinade
1 cup of fresh cilantro
1 cup of fresh parsley
3-4 cloves of fresh garlic
2-3 Tbsp of olive oil
1 1/2 Tbsp of Chermoula Spice Blend

Grilled Chermoula Salmon is a quick and delicious way to serve salmon at a dinner party or special lunch. This is an easy salmon recipe. If you're worried about slicing the salmon you can always ask your fishmonger to slice the salmon fillet for you. Remember to take out any stray bones with tweezers. It's best to feel along the middle of the salmon, that way the any bones will stick up and you'll feel them with your fingers.

Pre-heat grill or broiler to high. Mix all Marinade ingredients in food processor to a paste. Coat the Salmon with olive oil and rub with the Chermoula Marinade and salt and let set for one to two hours. Before grilling, make sure the salmon has a good coat of olive oil so it doesn't stick to the grill. Place on the grill about 3" away from the heat. Cook for 2 -3 minutes or until the salmon turns opaque.

Leftovers can be made into a sandwich with Pita Bread, grilled vegetables and mayonnaise.
