Charmoula Tagine Spice Blend is the spice mixture you'll need to make the best fish marinade known throughout Morocco and the Mediterranean region.
Ingredients: Black Pepper, Cayenne, Coriander, Cumin, Paprika and Turmeric
To prepare Charmoula fish marinade you'll need: 1 cup of fresh
cilantro, 1 cup of fresh parsley, 3-4 cloves of fresh garlic, 2-3 Tbsp of olive oil, 1&1/2 Tbsp of Charmoula Spice Blend. Then mix all ingredients in a food processor to a paste (Charmoula marinade).
Recipe (Salmon with Charmoula) : Coat your favorite fish from the inside and the outside with the Charmoula paste. Let it set for an hour or two. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Slice one onion, one lemon and two tomatoes to circular shapes. Place you marinated fish in a cooking Tagine or an oven dish. Spread the tomatoes, onions, lemons and some green olives on top of the fish. Cover your dish and place it in the oven for 30 minutes or until fish is cooked.
Also excellent as a marinade for fish cooked on the grill!
