Sumac Chicken with Garlic & Herbs

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1½ tablespoons Sumac
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Extra Sumac for finishing
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, Sumac, garlic, cumin, salt, black pepper, and thyme.
- Place the chicken in a shallow dish and rub the Sumac mixture evenly over both sides. Allow to marinate for at least 20 minutes, or refrigerate for up to 4 hours.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for approximately 5–7 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until browned and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and allow it to rest for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle generously with fresh parsley and an additional pinch of Sumac just before serving.
