Kefta Burgers

Exotic tasting spices give this burger a Moroccan flair to this succulent and healthy hamburger recipe. Use flat or pita bread instead of a standard hamburger bun.

1-1/2 Lbs ground beef (20/80 fat to meat ratio)
1 cup chopped cilantro
3/4 cup chopped onions
2 minced garlic cloves
1 tsp Kefta spice blend
1 Tbsp cumin powder
salt to taste


Prepare a charcoal grill. Mix all above ingredient in a large bowl. Follow steps on video. With your hands make small hamburger patties. Place the hamburgers directly on the grill or in a grill basket. Cook/grill on both sides (time will vary depending on heat source and how well-done you like your burgers)

Serve warm with pita bread and moroccan salad. (see photos/video)
